Limerick Pride Climax Party will have a stellar line-up of fantastic acts with RuPaul’s Drag Race star Courtney Act as the headliner. International drag queen, drag race alumni and Celebrity Big Brother UK winner Courtney Act is the stage name of Shane Jenek from Brisbane, Australia. Courtney competed in the first season of Australian Idol in 2003, and she was the first LGBTQ+ contestant to openly appear on a reality show. In June of 2019, she was placed third on the list of the ‘most powerful drag queens in America’, a ranking of 100 former Drag Race contestants.

Supporting Courtney is Sarah McTernan, former The Voice of Ireland contestant and Ireland representative at the Eurovision Song Contest who will be performing some of her beloved dance tracks including her hit ‘Heavy on my Heart’. Limerick’s own burlesque artist Miss LaVelle will also make an appearance on the main stage.

The event will be a huge night, hosted by Victoria Secret who will be joined by the rest of the Dragged Up team – Paul Ryder, Regina George and Pixxie. The Dragged Up team has been strutting in heels since 2011 with renowned Drag Queens travelling from all over the world to Dublin over the last eight years to perform with Dragged Up.
