Each June, Fiserv has the honour of participating in Pride Month
Fiserv, a leading global provider of payments and financial services technology solutions believes that an important aspect of its company experience is its commitment to creating an environment that celebrates inclusion in the workplace. One of the ways it achieves this is through Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), which are voluntary networks designed to unite employees across the company who share a common background, identity, characteristic, affiliation, or life experience, as well as those interested in supporting these communities.
Neil Decker, Lead of the EMEA Unity LQBTQ+ Chapter at Fiserv, said “Employee Resource Groups like Unity allow us to create a more welcoming workplace and engage with our communities on a deeper level. The people and organisations we work with are our neighbours and friends and our partnership with Limerick Pride this year will help raise awareness and create lasting change for LGBTQ+ communities, local businesses, and people networks in the area and beyond.”
Each June, they has the honour of participating in Pride Month – a time to amplify its support of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning and Plus communities. Throughout June, Fiserv Unity – LGBTQ Leadership Council hosts a series of events designed to educate and celebrate Pride, and engage with its employees. This year Unity wanted to focus on actions with a lasting impact. Taking inspiration from Limerick Pride, Fiserv unveiled rainbow crossings at its two offices in the UK and its office in Nenagh, Co Tipperary. Demonstrating its Pride, out in the open, these crossings will be seen by Fiserv employees, clients and potential new hires who visit the offices.
“We believe these crossings demonstrate our pride for all to see, and send a message that we appreciate one another and the unique value we each bring, because we know that together we are stronger and more vibrant” says Alan Burton, General Manager of the Fiserv Nenagh site.
